Melanie is an Intensive Care Unit nursing leader, where she has worked in various settings, from community hospitals to tertiary care centres. Over the years, her roles have included Staff Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Educator and Leader. Through her work as an ICU nurse, Melanie has honed her skills as a strategic, critical and analytical thinker, paying close attention to detail. Melanie is actively practicing in the ICU as a Clinical Educator and Staff RN and is on the Critical Care Outreach team. In addition to her extensive involvement in many nursing research and leadership projects, Melanie has received several nursing awards during her career.
