Susan has over 30 years of experience and has practiced for the last 25+ years at a Toronto-based Health Sciences Centre in Emergency and Trauma Care as both staff nurse and clinical care leader. Her roles include, but are not limited to, working in collaboration with the entire Healthcare team, the patient, and their families. Susan is responsible for Primary Care of Emergency and Trauma patients with her functions being intervention, education and patient advocacy and recently received 2 Service of Excellence Awards from the Office of ‘The Patient’ Experience.  Susan was also featured in social media on the ‘Humans of Support’ page recognizing her outstanding dedication to the community through her emergency nursing expertise.  Susan has also worked as a Dental Anesthesiologist Assist since 2012 and most recently as an RN on a Nurse Led Outreach Program at her hospital while employed in the Emergency Department.
